ABOUT

Female Force Festival is a women-led music festival created to support artists rebuilding their practice after migration. It began in 2023 as the Female Force Forum, when a group of international artists in Aarhus came together to learn how to continue creating while adapting to a new country. What started as a small meeting has grown into a community where women and non-binary artists share knowledge, navigate local systems, and strengthen their artistic identities.

Today, FFF is a space where talent is revived and celebrated. The festival brings together a full line-up and production team composed entirely of women and non-binary creators, highlighting resilience, cultural diversity, and the belief that creativity not only survives migration—it grows through it. At Turkis in Aarhus, Female Force Festival showcases the collective strength of artists who choose to build their own stage when existing structures fall short.

Female Force Festival is produced by the cultural organisation MuSa.
